The Blues – who lost in the FA Cup final fo Arsenal last weekend – are eyeing defensive reinforcements during the summer transfer window, and have also been linked with a move for West Ham United man Declan Rice.

Lampard has already added Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to his ranks at Stamford Bridge, but fresh reports suggest the Blues are eyeing a deal for England international Dunk.

The 28-year-old has been with the Seagulls his entire career and is a firm fan-favorite – but is now being considered for a move to the capital. However, it is understood that Chelsea are yet to make an offer for the centre-back this summer.

Incredibly, Dunk has started 110 of Brighton’s 114 games in the Premier League since promotion from the Championship back in 2017, including 36 of this season’s 38 fixtures.

A deal for the talented defender will cost Chelsea upwards of £30m – and if the move does materialize, Leeds United could be set to lose out.

The Whites would face a major barrier in their bid to bag £35m-rated Ben White from Brighton, should Dunk depart the south coast club.

Indeed, Football Insider claim the Whites don’t expect to land the 22-year-old if the Seagulls lose Dunk.

White played a major part on loan in Leeds’ Championship-winning campaign, making 46 league appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side..
