Facebook dey accept applications from Nigerians starting from 2pm on 24 August 2020 to 5pm on 04 September 2020 for di N500m grant wey di social networking site wan dash to support 781 small businesses inside Nigeria.
Dis Facebook grant na part of di $100m Global Grants Program wey aim to support 30,000 SMEs for over 30 kontris and na only Nigeria and South Africa Facebook select inside Africa to enjoy dis dash moni.
Facebook Small Business Grants Programme for Nigeria plan to sash 400,128 Naira in cash grants and 240,077 Naira in ad credits to help small businesses wey Covd 19 kpafuka in Nigeria during dis challenging time.
To qualify for di Facebook grant you must get di following
• Your own na for-profit business (alias you open shop to make money)
• Your business get between 2 and 50 employees
• You go don dey in business for over a year
• Your business go don experience challenges from COVID-19
• Be in or near a location wia Facebook dey operate
Documents wey you go need for Facebook grant
- Wen you dey complete your application, you go dey required to supply your most recent financial statements or accounts along wit legal document wey prove say your business don dey established for at least one year; ie. your annual tax return, business registration document (CAC documents), business licence or partnership agreement.
- You go also make sure say you provide full financial statements or accounts for your business. At least, di financial statements you go provide suppose include one balance sheet and anoda income statement/profit or loss statement. A balance sheet go normally show summary of all of your business’ properties and liabilities; ie cash, balances due from your customers, loans wey your business dey owe, buildings owned by your business, stock held by your business etc.
